Requirements

  • 6+ Years of Relevant Experience: Electrical engineering design experience, particularly in the food, beverage, or consumer packaged goods sectors is ideal.
  • NEC Proficiency: A solid understanding of the NEC, ensuring compliance in all designs.
  • Power Distribution Expertise: Experience in low and medium voltage systems.
  • Load Flow Analysis Experience: Demonstrated ability in optimizing electrical systems.
  • Lighting Design Knowledge: Proficiency in industrial lighting solutions.
  • Multi-Discipline Design Exposure: Experience in integrated facilities design.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD.
  • Exceptional Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Willingness to Travel: For installations, meetings, training, and industry events.
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Licensure: PE licensed with ability to obtain licensure in additional states

Responsibilities

  • Design full electrical systems, including power, lighting, and fire alarm for large, complex manufacturing facility buildings.
  • Create and implement state-of-the-art electrical design solutions.
  • Work on electrical design projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and integrating power, lighting, and fire alarm systems seamlessly.
  • Apply knowledge of the National Electrical Code to craft designs that meet the utmost safety and quality benchmarks.
  • Design robust power distribution systems, skilled in both low and medium voltage applications, tailored to the specific needs of cutting-edge manufacturing plants.
  • Optimize power distribution through precise load flow analysis, enhancing energy efficiency.
  • Craft lighting solutions that boost safety, productivity, and energy conservation.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary projects, offering electrical engineering expertise to forge comprehensive solutions.
  • Utilize leading software like Easy Power, REVIT, and AutoCAD for sophisticated modeling and simulation.
