About The Position

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer for a direct assignment in Fort Worth, Texas. The selected candidate will mentor and/or manage junior and mid-level electrical engineering staff members while also working closely with our clients to deliver exceptional services in the power / utilities sector. This position is a Direct Hire to the client and requires a Professional Engineer License (PE). This position can work a Hybrid schedule in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves leading an electrical engineering team to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions for clients across all market sectors, anticipating challenges, and managing project delivery. The engineer will engage with clients to evaluate energy needs, develop concept-level plans and solutions, and take these through detailed design to full execution. Collaboration with Client Account Managers and sales professionals on strategic pursuits, proposal development, project execution planning (including scope development and manhour estimates), strategy formation, business development, and sales are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of Electrical Engineering experience
• A Professional Engineer License (PE)
• An extensive background in Utility or Power projects (power distribution systems, power generation, microgrids, HV or MV substations, renewable energy, energy storage systems, etc.)
• US Citizen

Responsibilities

• Lead an electrical engineering team to provide advisory services and engineering design solutions for clients across all market sectors
• Anticipate challenges and manage "up and out" while supporting large teams responsible for the daily details of project delivery
• Engage with our clients, evaluate their energy needs, develop concept-level plans and solutions and then take these through detailed design to provide for full execution
• Collaborate with our Client Account Managers and sales professionals on pursuits of strategic importance to the firm
• Proposal development and project execution planning; including scope development and manhour estimates
• Strategy formation, business development and sales
