About The Position

KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Electrical Engineer, Junior, to join our team. This position is contingent upon contract award. This position requires fully onsite work in Newport, Rhode Island. Requirements

Strong customer relations, analytics, and documentation skills

Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear status and/or communicate issues
Ability to adapt to evolving technology
Experience with cable block diagrams, cable run sheets, and cable fabrication drawings.
Experience using MATLAB
Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
Subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to complete the full background investigation.
Requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Design new products, write performance requirements, and develop maintenance schedules.
Test equipment, solve operating problems, and estimate the time and cost of engineering projects.
Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software or equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing of electrical and electronic equipment, including broadcast and communications systems, electric motors, machinery controls, lighting, and wiring in buildings, automobiles, aircraft, radar and navigation systems, and transmission devices used by electric utilities.
