HOUSTON - Electrical Engineer, Internship
About The Position
This internship position is designed for students pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. The intern will work within a team, receiving mentorship from BGE employees. The role involves attending specific career development events and training, as well as participating in intern-specific activities alongside regular work duties. The position requires a strong command of business software like MS Office and the capacity to learn specialized industry software. Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as is the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. The intern must be willing and able to commit to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Must be full-time student in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong proficiency with business software (MS Office) and ability to learn industry-specific software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong collaborator who works well on a team.
- Willingness and ability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
