About The Position

Fenner Precision Polymers has an exciting internship opportunity in the CI Ops Engineering Team. Assignments may extend to any of our Lancaster county plant locations. As part of the CI Ops Engineering Team, you will understand the requirements of executing Capital Engineering projects, assisting with the execution of key project milestones and deliverables, and utilization of our project governance model and the importance of project tracking and communication of the status with key stakeholders. You will develop proficiency in emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools, to support project work, data analysis, content creation, and operational efficiency under the guidance of team leaders. You will also participate in design collaboration and machine development with Fenner and its partners, and develop an understanding of Continuous improvement and LEAN manufacturing principles.

Requirements

  • Team work, good communication skills, responsible, eager to learn, strong work ethic.
  • Ability to use auto cad and or solid works
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products
  • Studies that align with either Mechanical, Industrial or Controls Engineering programs.
  • A minimum of 1 year of college or technical school in a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Manufacturing either through past full or part time employment or as part of the program they are enrolled in is a plus.
