The Electrical Engineering Team at Zipline is responsible for the design, building, and testing of all electronics and software for the flight and ground systems. This includes custom circuit board design, EOL tester development, sensor integration, and real-time flight control and communication systems. The team collaborates with mechanical, test, embedded, software, and systems engineering teams to create scalable, high-performance products. This role involves engineering a majority of the system in-house to enhance reliability for future growth. The electrical engineering team is expanding its design and test capabilities. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in different domains, thrive in small group problem-solving, and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders. They should be strong individual contributors with a solid grasp of electrical engineering fundamentals, capable of defining requirements, developing creative solutions, and validating their work through testing.
