About The Position

ETC is hiring Electrical Engineer Interns for the summer of 2027. This is an on-site position in the company’s Middleton, Wisconsin office. Applicants should submit a resume and transcripts under “additional files.” HR will start reviewing applications toward the end of September.

Requirements

• Working toward a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Junior or senior year standing, or completion of relevant Electrical Engineering courses.
• One to two years of post-high-school education in the area of specialization.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform circuit analysis and simulation.
• Support new design bring-up and troubleshooting.
• Perform basic analog and digital circuit designs and schematic capture.
• Assist with design modifications or improvements to existing circuits.
• Develop test and verification procedures.
• May support continuing engineering maintenance and manufacturing-floor support of existing products.
• Provide task completion time estimates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
