VIAVI Solutions is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineer Intern to contribute to the design, development, and testing of innovative network and service enablement solutions. This internship offers hands-on experience in a dynamic R&D environment, working alongside experienced engineers on cutting-edge technology.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, digital logic, and electromagnetics.
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, multimeters).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with circuit simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, Altium Designer, Eagle) is a plus.
  • Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C/C++) are desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, simulation, and prototyping of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits for various products.
  • Conduct hardware testing and debugging, including signal integrity analysis, power integrity analysis, and functional verification.
  • Support the development and maintenance of test fixtures and automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Document design specifications, test procedures, and experimental results.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving initiatives.
  • Research and evaluate new components, technologies, and methodologies.
