About The Position

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for on-site electrical commissioning, debugging, and technical support for industrial ventilation, VOC treatment, dust extraction, and paint/lithium factory systems. This role focuses on electrical/automation implementation, PLC/HMI debugging, and ensuring equipment operates safely and reliably in compliance with U.S. standards. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems and is comfortable working on project sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Automation, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical engineering, commissioning, or field service within industrial equipment or lithium battery sectors.
  • Strong experience with industrial control systems and on-site equipment debugging.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and modification, preferably Siemens TIA Portal.
  • Experience with Siemens HMI, WEINVIEW HMI, or similar operator interface systems.
  • Hands-on experience creating and modifying electrical drawings using EPLAN and/or AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with NEC, OSHA safety standards, and U.S. industrial electrical practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and on-site problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the U.S. and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site electrical commissioning, debugging, and functional testing of industrial equipment and systems.
  • Create, Modify and update electrical schematics and wiring diagrams based on site conditions and project requirements and prepare/adjust BOM lists when necessary.
  • Debug and adjust PLC and HMI programs to ensure proper system operation and interlock logic.
  • Support equipment startup, system testing, and final acceptance with clients.
  • Ensure electrical systems comply with OSHA, NEC, and applicable EPA/environmental requirements.
  • Coordinate with HQ engineering teams to resolve electrical and control-related issues on site.
  • Assist with electrical component selection and replacement (e.g., Siemens, Schneider, Eaton, Phoenix, Pilz).
  • Prepare and update as-built drawings, I/O lists, and electrical documentation.
  • Provide troubleshooting support during operation and address on-site electrical faults as needed.
  • Prepare commissioning and debugging reports and support project handover.
