About The Position

Shermco Canada is a trusted provider of electrical testing, engineering, commissioning, maintenance, and power system services. We support utility, industrial, commercial, and infrastructure customers by helping improve the safety, reliability, and performance of critical electrical systems. We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to join our team in Regina or Saskatoon. This is a strong opportunity for an EIT who is interested in power systems, electrical field services, testing, commissioning, and practical engineering development. The Electrical Engineer-in-Training will support engineering and field-service projects involving electrical power distribution systems, substations, switchgear, transformers, protective relays, grounding systems, electrical studies, and commissioning activities. Working under the supervision of licensed Professional Engineers and experienced technical staff, the successful candidate will assist with technical analysis, field data collection, testing support, project documentation, reporting, and customer deliverables. This role is based in Saskatchewan and requires travel to customer sites and project locations. Travel may include day trips, overnight stays, extended field assignments, and occasional work outside Saskatchewan based on project and business needs.
