About The Position

Collaborating with other engineers and logisticians in the execution of US government contracts for the sustainment and modification of USAF assets. Participating as part of a team to design, build, and maintain electrical designs, firmware, hardware and software applications. Reading, developing and revising electrical schematics. Being willing to learn DoD designs, protocols, and specific languages as well as firmware-hardware integration and troubleshooting firmware, hardware, and software issues. Overseeing the installation of components by technicians. Leading other engineers in design and development activities, including mentorship. In relation to other jobs in the same function, this job requires a senior level of proficiency to apply significant job-related experience. This job may assist others as a lead practitioner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Five or more years of work related experience
  • Application of complex, technical, professional disciplines requiring a four-year degree or equivalent and the extensive, applied use of related concepts, practices and methods
  • Senior level of proficiency to apply significant job-related experience
  • Ability to assist others as a lead practitioner
  • Analytical skills

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Eligibility for a U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret level
