This role provides essential technical engineering support to various functional areas within Craig Station. The Electrical Engineer III will perform and coordinate engineering analyses for diverse plant electrical systems, offering technical direction to other Tri-State groups. A key responsibility includes providing technical support during unit outages, which involves defining the scope of work, conducting inspections, developing technical specifications, and overseeing contractors and station personnel for maintenance, new system installations, and retrofitting projects. The position also entails troubleshooting electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues for Operations and Maintenance, and assisting in the development of budgets and capital projects. Furthermore, the role involves participating in the evaluation and selection of consultants and contractors, monitoring their work, and assisting with performance testing of plant equipment. Ensuring adherence to company policies, industry standards (CIP, WECC, FERC, NERC, MRO), and EEO regulations is also a critical aspect of this position.
