About The Position
Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university and six (6) years of experience performing engineering duties in designing, constructing, and testing aircraft, missiles, and spacecraft; and conducting basic and applied research to evaluate adaptability of materials and equipment to aircraft design and manufacture; or a Master's Degree in Engineering in the appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university and four (4) years of applicable experience; or a PhD in Engineering in the appropriate area of specialization or related discipline from an accredited college/university, and two (2) years of applicable experience. Requirements
- U.S. Citizen.
- Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance.
- Proven experience with PCB layout and schematic capture software.
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with MIL-STD-461, 464 and 810.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with high-speed digital design, signal integrity, and power integrity analysis.
- Familiarity with Dewesoft, Quartus, and VHDL.
- Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and test analog and digital circuits for high vibe, acoustic, temp and EMI environments.
- Create and manage PCB layouts, schematics, and fabrication files using EDA/CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, AutoCAD Design etc.).
- Collaborate with the team to develop and refine requirements.
- Conduct design reviews and simulations to ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
- Develop and execute test plans for validating and debugging prototypes and production hardware.
- Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test procedures, and reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in existing products.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in PCB design and electrical engineering.
