About The Position

We are seeking a collaborative engineering leader to drive the development of advanced electronics hardware and software solutions while overseeing multiple projects and teams. This role leads innovative product development, provides technical expertise, and partners across functions to deliver high-performance solutions that support Provisur’s continued growth and success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required
  • 7–10 years of experience in a related engineering field
  • Expert knowledge of Assembly, C, C++, PLC programming, or other high-level programming languages
  • Strong familiarity with digital and analog circuits, AC/DC motors, and drive technology
  • Ability to use and interpret results from electronic test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, counters, pulse generators)
  • Working knowledge of OrCAD and AutoCAD for schematic capture, PCB design, and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of MS-DOS, MS Windows, and PC-compatible hardware environments
  • Understanding of microprocessors, memory architectures, and interface circuitry
  • Familiarity with real-time programming concepts as applied to embedded and control system software development

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance software for industrial control systems, including embedded computing platforms and PLC-based automation solutions using Assembly, C, C++, and PLC programming languages
  • Lead large-scale engineering projects, providing technical direction, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring successful delivery of project objectives
  • Travel as needed to support project evaluations, equipment installations, commissioning activities, and troubleshooting of engineering modifications and system enhancements
  • Manage engineering change processes, including processing REAs, creating ECNs, maintaining schematics, and updating Bills of Materials (BOMs) for new and existing products
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to support the design, development, implementation, and modification of products and systems
  • Design, develop, and validate new electronic circuits, including schematic capture, PCB design, and assembly documentation
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic and test equipment—oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, counters, and pulse generators—to analyze system performance, troubleshoot issues, and validate designs
