About The Position

Argus Consulting is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to support the design and delivery of high-impact engineering projects across a variety of industries. This role is ideal for an engineer who has built a strong technical foundation and is ready to take on greater ownership of project work while continuing to grow their expertise. You’ll contribute to core project tasks, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and play a key role in delivering high-quality, compliant engineering solutions—without being thrown in the deep end alone. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • 2+ years of relevant engineering experience, including exposure to design and project execution
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
  • Proficiency with engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, Visual Lighting)
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and applicable standards
  • Ability to manage routine tasks independently while seeking guidance on more complex work
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Perform design and analysis of electrical systems in alignment with applicable codes and industry standards
  • Prepare and review calculations, drawings, and technical specifications with guidance from senior engineers
  • Support execution of project components while managing assigned tasks independently
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate design efforts and troubleshoot technical challenges
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including reports and technical data
  • Participate in QA/QC reviews to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency across deliverables
  • Provide guidance and support to junior engineers as appropriate
  • Continuously build technical knowledge through ongoing learning and industry engagement
  • Utilize engineering tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, and Visual Lighting in project design
