Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline with no experience required.
  • Knowledge of the principles and practices of Engineering.
  • Able to research and analyze information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification.
  • Knowledge and experience of power systems engineering including equipment design and specification, installation, testing and commissioning of industrial power systems.
  • Knowledge and experience of power systems studies including load flow, short circuit, coordination, and Arc flash study and Mitigation.
  • Knowledge and experience in designing process automation system including experience of producing instrumentation and control, P&ID drawings.
  • Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio.
  • Self-motivated with excellent work ethic.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing technical advice and guidance for designated Engineering projects and programs at assigned site.
  • Assist in the review, investigation and development of appropriate recommendations regarding assigned Engineering projects.
  • Participate on small to medium site construction, expansion or modification projects.
  • Administer contracts with vendors for the provision of services and equipment.
  • Develop working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations appropriate to area of assignment.
  • Perform other duties as required.
