About The Position

You'll play a key role in developing engineering documentation, commissioning machine applications, and providing technical expertise to enhance automation systems. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer science engineering from an ABET accredited engineering school
Member of professional practice organization, member of local program or committee
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel domestically & internationally at least 25%-30%
Ability to work in inclement weather in a mountainous environment at high altitudes
Authorized to work in the United States of America
Proficient in the English language

Nice To Haves

5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office
3 years’ design background, including Electrical CAD systems and database management
2 years’ experience in integrated automation/information systems in a manufacturing environment
2 years’ experience with Rockwell Software
2 years’ experience with DC and/or AC drives and motors
Exposure to National Electrical Code (NEC) and Arc-Flash (NFPA-70)

Responsibilities

Provide technical support to senior engineers
Research and develop new electrical systems and components
Troubleshoot/ repair electrical equipment according to Leitner-Poma’s requirements, including PLCs, HMIs, and AC drives and motors
Assist in project management, documentation, and testing procedures
