About The Position

We have an exciting opportunity for a Mixed Signal Analog/Digital Design - Electrical Engineer I to join our strong hardware electronics team. In this position you will be part of a talented team responsible for the design, development, and test of Sensor Electronics Design. A successful candidate will excel at collaborating in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment working to develop cutting-edge image sensor processing products. The scope of this role includes design of mixed signal hardware to support both new and existing Raytheon products. These design efforts will include collaboration with systems engineers, mechanical engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other electrical engineers to perform design trades and requirements flow down, perform electrical analysis, develop test plans, and ultimately to deliver working hardware that meets program requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained prior to start.
  • Comprehensive understanding of basic circuit designs, signal and power integrity analysis, fundamental of analog/digital design.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with generating Printed Wiring Board (PWB) layout constraint guidelines and overseeing the routing, layout, fabrication, and assembly of the design.
  • Experience with signal integrity and timing analyses for creation of robust circuit card designs.
  • Hands-on experience testing circuit card assemblies and performing design verification activities.
  • Manage existing part creation processes, understanding symbol, footprint, part creation using mentor graphics enterprise tools and component Database tools
  • Experience with bench level testing, troubleshooting, and analyzing test results

Responsibilities

  • Supporting circuit and sub-system architecture, design, simulation, and verification.
  • Integration and test at component, CCA, and subsystem levels.
  • Transition to production and technical support to manufacturing and test engineers.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional integrated product development teams to deliver on customer requirements with consideration for efficiencies in strategic investment, cost, schedule, and process adherence.
  • Prepare and present project technical information to peers and internal/external customers
