As an Electrical Engineer I, you will be responsible for supporting a development program within the Airborne RF Electronics Design Department. You will be working as a member of a team that is responsible for developing test sets to support a production program onsite under the guidance of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead in McKinney, Texas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) (Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework or projects

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electronics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions.
  • Experience with coding.
  • Knowledge of Matlab, C#, C++, Python.
  • Quick learner and motivated

Responsibilities

  • Work in a team environment that will assess production testing design coverage for all levels of test from special test equipment to assembly, test, and verification.
  • Troubleshooting testsets down to component level to include analog/digital/radio and microwave frequency circuitry and interfaces and software.
  • Resolution of issues on production support testsets in NTX.
  • Work in a compact range environment or lab environment.
  • Analysis of test data of RF products to make sure test specifications are met.
  • Interpreting, generating, updating, releasing and applying engineering drawings, including testset drawings, assembly drawings, parts lists, wire lists, and schematics.
