The ECAD Electrical Engineer will provide the primary support to the Engineering team for all Electrical tools on unclassified and classified networks. The position requires the ability to obtain a secret clearance. This position represents the primary Electrical Engineering point of contact with a skill set that demonstrates a passion for exceeding needs, includes the ability to maintain the engineering training plan, strong team, verbal and written skills, and the ability to work independently with strong administrative skills.

Requirements

  • Expert level experience in Xpedition Enterprise tool set
  • Strong overall network skills.
  • Experience in tool installation on Unix, Linux, and Windows based computers.
  • Experience in solving end user computer system problems
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance required.
  • Capable of supporting a flexible work schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Scripting / automation skill set.
  • BS in Engineering preferred.
  • Current possession of a U.S. Government Secret security clearance desired.

Responsibilities

  • Support and maintenance of the complete Electrical Engineering tool design environment.
  • Library part capture support on classified and unclassified networks
  • Provide primary on-site application support for all electrical engineering tools used in the design process, with immediate applicable experience in the tools used on site.
  • Supporting heritage automation scripts written in VB, C++, AWK and Csh and Ksh Shell, beta testing of new software releases, and providing findings / recommendations for migration to new versions.
  • Able to work and support a flexible work schedule.
