About The Position

Providing design, development, engineering, integration, testing, evaluation, and configuration support for electromagnetic spectrum operations mission engineering across surface, air, ground, undersea, and space domains, including live, virtual, and constructive testing at Naval Surface Warfare Center -- Crane (NSWC). Ability to troubleshoot systems, assemble, repair, test, and disposition mechanical assemblies. Identifying, defining, and solving complex technical problems which require a high level of ingenuity and innovativeness based on broad objectives from management. Encouraging optimum design within project schedule and funding limitations. Interacting frequently as the organizational representative with the customer in the collection and translation of customer requirements to defined specifications. Making frequent contact with customers, teaming partners, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain/exchange information, provide technical direction, and assist in the resolution of technical issues. Developing and delivering complex technical presentations to high level program management and customers. Leading major program and/or design reviews and major proposal activities. Performing extensive research and complex analysis on a major project to enhance the technical and economic development of the product and/or service; completed reports or studies may be deliverable engineering products to the customer. Providing functional and technical guidance to engineers. Providing leadership and technical direction for a project team. FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON AWARD.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field from an ABET accredited institution
  • 10 years (minimum) of related professional experience
  • Minimum of Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance
  • Ability to troubleshoot systems, assemble, repair, test, and disposition mechanical assemblies.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands‑on experience with radio‑frequency systems, electromagnetic analysis, modeling and simulation, test planning and execution, and system integration
  • Familiarity with tools such as Ansys tool suites, System Tool Kit, Cameo Systems Modeler, Python, Advance Framework for Simulation and Integration Modeling, and Next Generation Threat Simulation
