About The Position
Sayres is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Engineer III with the ability to obtain a secret clearance in Philadelphia, PA. This role is part of a significant engineering and technical support effort for the Navy's propulsion, power generation, and ship systems testing infrastructure at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. The contract supports some of the Navy's most critical land-based test facilities before technologies are installed aboard ships. The Electrical/Electronics Engineer III will support the design, development, integration, and testing of electrical and electronic systems, equipment, and controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of electrical/electronics engineering experience.
- Minimum 2 years working with electrical motors and machinery controls.
- Ability to obtain secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design and analyze electrical and electronic systems.
- Develop engineering calculations and technical documentation.
- Support equipment testing, troubleshooting, and validation.
- Evaluate motor control systems and machinery controls.
- Review drawings and technical specifications.
- Support system integration and field testing activities.
