About The Position

Serpa Packaging Solutions is looking for an Electrical Drafter to join our growing organization! As the Electrical Drafter with Serpa, you will support the electrical engineering team by preparing accurate and detailed electrical schematics and related documentation. This position plays a key role in translating design concepts and customer requirements into clear, code-compliant technical drawings used in the construction of our automated equipment's. Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in electrical drafting or a related technical field
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of drafting standards
• Ability to read and interpret electrical/pneumatic schematics and related documents
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical preferred
• Experience with electrical panel layout and control cabinet design preferred
• Knowledge of PLC wiring and industrial control systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Create and modify electrical/pneumatic schematics and wiring diagrams using AutoCAD Electrical
• Assist in developing electrical drawings for power distribution, control systems, and panel layouts
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and codes
• Maintain drawing standards and document revisions in project databases
• Support bill of materials (BOM) development and project documentation
• Perform redline updates and integrate field markups into as-built drawings
• Ensure compliance with NEC, UL, or other applicable electrical codes and standards
