About The Position

This role is responsible for creating and revising electrical drawings for manufacturing. The Electrical Drafter I will update drawings to meet current production requirements, read and understand technical manuals, instructions, and criteria, and understand in-house programs for drawing creation and storage.

Requirements

• CAD training
• Applicable certification from a Technical/Vocational Training institution.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience or equivalent experience in a similar industry.
• Communicates effectively in written and spoken form.
• Exhibits good decision making and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities.
• Works effectively in a team environment.
• Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
• Lift up to 50lbs.
• Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours.
• Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of commonly used symbols, practices, and procedures within the mechanical field is preferred.
