Electrical Distribution System (EDS) Quality Engineer
About The Position
In the Quality department, our mission is simple yet vital: Quality Comes First. As we transition into an era of advanced electrification, software-defined vehicles, and cutting-edge mobility, our quality engineers are at the forefront of ensuring our customers experience world-class reliability and safety. As the Electrical Distribution System (EDS) Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our vehicles’ low-voltage and high-voltage Electrical Distribution Systems meet rigorous design requirements, engineering specifications, and—most importantly—the high expectations of our customers. This is a highly collaborative, cross-functional role. You will partner with diverse engineering teams, program management, and global suppliers, leveraging standardized Ford processes and industry-leading quality tools to drive product excellence from concept through production.
Requirements
- Experience with Electrical Distribution Systems (EDS)
- Understanding of low-voltage and high-voltage systems
- Familiarity with rigorous design requirements and engineering specifications
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Experience with standardized Ford processes
- Proficiency in industry-leading quality tools
