About The Position
Cummings Electrical is seeking an Electrical Designer to work directly with experienced electrical engineers. This person will work with Electrical Engineers on Design and Coordination Study projects. The Electrical Designer will support the day-to-day engineering challenges supporting Electrical Construction.
Requirements
- Strong Knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD Design Experience
- Motivated self-starter with an interest to apply academic training within product design
- Flexible commitment 40 hours per work week
- Applicants must reside in TX (DFW area) or have the ability to relocate and secure their own housing.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical Engineering Degree is not required.
Responsibilities
- Electrical Design using Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Hand Calculations using Excel to check program calculation results
- Interpretation of applicable codes, including NEC, IBC, IEE, NFPA, and IECC.
