Requirements

Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Technician level diploma in an electrical program or similar with courses in AutoCAD.
4+ years of experience in a drafting office, or an equivalent combination of training and experience with a focus on Electricall drafting.

Knowledge of AutoCAD Dynamic Blocks is an asset.

Responsibilities

Update existing and create new electrical schematics for instrumentation and controls wiring, junction boxes, control panel layouts, cable assemblies, and other electro-mechanical drawings.
Coordinate with various disciplines to ensure comprehensive design considerations, covering Instrumentation, Controls, Production, and Projects.
Take ownership of the design of various Junction Box, Rack, Chassis, and Panel assemblies.
Understand drawing configuration and revisions, ensuring proper file administration during drawing development.
Ensure adherence to internal drawing generation and control procedures.
