About The Position
Cummings Electrical is seeking an Electrical Designer to work directly with experienced electrical engineers on Design and Coordination Study projects. This role will support the day-to-day engineering challenges associated with Electrical Construction.
Requirements
- Strong Knowledge of Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Design Experience
- Motivated self-starter with an interest to apply academic training within product design
- Flexible commitment 40 hours per work week
- Applicants must reside in TX (DFW area) or have the ability to relocate and secure their own housing.
- Background check and drug screen
Nice To Haves
- Electrical Engineering Degree is not required.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day engineering challenges supporting Electrical Construction.
- Electrical Design using Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Hand Calculations using Excel to check program calculation results
- Interpretation of applicable codes, including NEC, IBC, IEE, NFPA, and IECC.
