About The Position

We are looking for an electrical designer to support new facility design engineering. Specifically, we need candidates that can perform the following functions: Support power distribution and I&C design efforts of new and existing facilities. Assist in the design and construction of infrastructure projects. Work with a team of multi-engineers in support of facility design and/or improvements. Take field notes and redlines and enters them into Smartplant3D.

Requirements

• A.S. in drafting or design, or similar technical degree, and at least 2 years of professional experience in the design and construction of infrastructure projects.
• Must be a U.S. citizen

Nice To Haves

• Smartplant3D software experience is desired.
• DOE or nuclear experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support power distribution and I&C design efforts of new and existing facilities.
• Assist in the design and construction of infrastructure projects.
• Work with a team of multi-engineers in support of facility design and/or improvements.
• Take field notes and redlines and enters them into Smartplant3D.
• Be responsible for electrical wiring, cable tray and conduit layouts.
