About The Position

This role involves electrical design work, focusing on utilizing Revit MEP for design and documentation. The designer will be responsible for various aspects of electrical system design, including raceway layout, installation details, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Experience with Department of Defense or Department of Energy projects is highly valued.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience using Revit MEP, including Architectural interface, drawing generation, view templates, design options, and phasing.
• Knowledge and ability to apply knowledge of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE Standards.
• Experience with electrical raceway design and layout, including underground raceway design, duct bank design, interior conduit design, and cable tray design.
• Experience creating electrical installation and support details to be used in the field by construction.
• Previous DoD/DoE, USACE, NAVFAC, USAF, or NASA project experience.
• Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ISO-9000.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Revit MEP for electrical design, including architectural interface, drawing generation, view templates, design options, and phasing.
• Apply knowledge of NEC code and ANSI/IEEE Standards to electrical designs.
• Perform electrical raceway design and layout, including underground raceway design, duct bank design, interior conduit design, and cable tray design.
• Create electrical installation and support details for field use by construction teams.
• Work on projects for DoD/DoE, USACE, NAVFAC, USAF, or NASA.
• Adhere to quality assurance programs such as ISO-9000.
