About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and reviewing electrical systems and schematics for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electrical Design, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design, preferably in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with lighting design, power distribution, and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with BIM workflows and 3D modeling.
• Knowledge of energy-efficient and sustainable design practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other CAD software.
• Create and update schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and circuit designs.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to define project requirements and timelines.
• Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and other electrical engineering tasks.
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, IEC, and other applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural) to ensure integrated design.
• Support construction and installation teams with technical documentation and field support.
• Review and revise designs based on feedback and site conditions.
