Electrical Designer who will lead the development of industrial electrical and control system designs. Requirements

  • Associate in applied science degree in power systems (or equivalent) or a Certificate in drafting
  • Five years of experience in industrial electrical and control systems design
  • Ability to provide leadership, guidance, & instruction to develop drafters and junior staff

Responsibilities

  • Perform design functions to develop detailed electrical designs for industrial manufacturing and process control systems
  • Collaborate with engineers to produce complete sets of drawings for fabrication, bidding, and construction
  • Maintain company drafting standard details, templates, and models
  • Travel to client/customer sites to support design collaboration and data collection activities
