About The Position

Join a high-impact hardware validation team working on advanced SoC-based platforms and next-generation electronic systems. As an Electrical Design Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in bringing hardware prototypes from concept to production by validating power architecture, high-speed interfaces, board functionality, and system-level performance. This is a hands-on lab-focused role ideal for engineers who enjoy debugging complex hardware, analyzing signal and power integrity, and driving products toward successful release.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on electrical design validation experience supporting board bring-up, prototype validation, system integration, hardware debug, and product readiness for complex SoC-based platforms.
  • Experience validating hardware platforms using PowerPC, ARM, NXP, Intel processors, microcontrollers, FPGA, CPLD, FLASH, eMMC, DDR3/DDR4, and related peripheral subsystems.
  • Strong expertise in high-speed interface validation and characterization, including MII/GMII/SGMII, SERDES, PCIe Gen1/2/3, SFP, PoE+, USB, LVDS, and other high-speed digital interfaces.
  • Proven ability to debug complex electronic circuits and board-level issues, including signal integrity, power integrity, timing, thermal, PDN, EMI/EMC, and power analysis/testing.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced lab equipment, including high-speed oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, traffic generators, SSA, VNA, DC electronic loads, power supplies, and current probes.
  • Experience with electrical compliance testing, high-speed characterization, product validation, root-cause analysis, and end-to-end validation from prototype through production readiness.
  • Familiarity with schematic and layout review tools such as OrCAD, Allegro, DxDesigner, Design Entry HDL, Mentor Physical Viewer, Valor, and GC Preview, plus working knowledge of Python/scripting for test automation.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for end-to-end hardware development life cycle - requirement analysis, architecture design / analysis, implementation, testing, validation, compliance certification to General Availability (GA)
  • Responsible for Board bring up , functional, power, high speed interface, thermal and system integration testing
  • Client team coordination and project delivery
  • Leverage knowledge on Signal Integrity and Power Integrity analysis
  • Familiar with regulatory compliance certification testing

Benefits

  • Paid time off based on employee grade (A-F), defined by policy: Vacation: 12-25 days, depending on grade
  • Company paid holidays
  • Personal Days
  • Sick Leave
