About The Position

In this role, you will play a key part in advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work across your area of expertise. At KLA, we are looking for high-energy interns for several exciting projects this coming summer in our Ann Arbor, Michigan location! This position provides a phenomenal opportunity to perform hands-on work on KLA’s semiconductor inspection tools and contribute to the development of components and tooling that we integrate into KLA's instruments. A self-motivated individual in this role will work in a team with other interns and engineers on a specific aspect of a larger project.

Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Developing foundation in electrical engineering principles
Hands-on experience debugging systems and subsystems with lab tools (e.g., multimeters, analyzers)
Strong analytical skills with experience in trouble-shooting electrical circuits.
Bachelor's Level Degree in progress
Requires less than 1 year of related experience

Nice To Haves

Classes in, or hands-on experience with electrical engineering principles
Experience with OrCAD and AutoCAD
Experience with OrCAD or Cadence

Responsibilities

Designing electrical parts, modules, and subsystems for advanced measurement systems
Performing thermal/cooling analysis and control
Creating conceptual and detailed designs using tools like OrCAD and AutoCAD
Procuring prototype parts, integrating systems, testing prototypes, and transitioning to manufacturing
Designing circuits with CAD tools, such as OrCAD or Cadence
