About The Position

We are seeking a full-time electrical engineer or electrical designer with at least 3 years of experience to support the growth and expansion of our business. The position would start as a "electrical engineer/designer" and potentially progress over time to "project manager” or “project engineer."

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience
Interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Familiarity with system specific materials, components, and systems.
Basic knowledge of high mathematics relative to the work.
Oral and written communications skills.
Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
Working ability/knowledge of AutoCad.
Working ability/knowledge of REVIT.

Responsibilities

Position will involve electrical design for commercial, office, retail, healthcare, and other project types.
Apply design knowledge in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specifications and selections.
Preparation of schematics for various systems.
Collaboration with all disciplines to achieve completed coordinated design and reviewing the work of others.
Performance of on-site investigation to confirm existing conditions.
Developing familiarity with current electrical codes and standards.
Forming relationships with equal level personnel of other disciplines (architectural, electrical, structural civil, etc.) and manufacturing sales representatives.
Becoming familiar with and preparing general and electrical specifications.
