AWS Infrastructure Services is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure, ensuring the cloud and ML/AI models run efficiently. The role involves working on challenging problems with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain, collaborating with a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. The goal is to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing infinite capacity at the best possible cost. The position is based in Virginia, with required travel to the Seattle head office (up to 20%), primarily to Virginia-based data centers and for in-person collaboration. International support and some international travel may be necessary for working on international teams and developing design packages, though understanding international electrical design requirements is helpful but not essential.
