Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in aerospace, electrical engineering, or related scientific field strongly preferred
Four to seven years of engineering experience (internships and co-ops count)
Working knowledge of aircraft processes and substantiation techniques for Airbus and Boeing platforms
Proficiency in MS Office Suite; strong computer skills
Experience with AutoCAD or Draftsight tools
Solid understanding of aircraft mechanical/structural design, materials, and fabrication methods
Strong organizational, communication, and presentation abilities
Professional demeanor and effective individual contributor

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with aircraft interiors
Background as a design or substantiation engineer
Working knowledge of FAR regulations and aircraft certification

Responsibilities

Develop electrical test plans, inspection checklists, and substantiation reports for aircraft cabin systems
Draft and present technical materials for meetings; manage STC/PMA projects focusing on electrical requirements
Coordinate data deliverables from suppliers and respond to regulatory inquiries and airworthiness concerns
Identify design changes affecting electrical systems and ensure compliance with safety standards
Support certification processes and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies
Troubleshoot electrical issues during flight tests, lab tests, and customer support scenarios
