About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring an Experienced / Senior Electrical Design and Analysis Engineer at Hill Air Force Base (AFB), Utah. Boeing has an established legacy of national defense through our ICBM programs. Our involvement is ongoing today and will continue into the distant future. Come join us in our legacy and continuing support of our national defense. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Experienced, Level 3: Typically, 5 or more years' related work experience
Senior, Level 4: Typically, 9 or more years' related work experience
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

Previous Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) experience
Previous MIL-STD-1760 and cybersecurity experience.
Previous experience developing and implementing a Pilot Vehicle Interface.
Knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Engineering departments/disciplines (e.g., design, test, software, technology, avionics).
Knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, Business).
Experience leading efforts to decompose requirements and implement a hardware solution to meet requirements with minimal guidance.
Current active clearance is preferred.

Responsibilities

Analyzes customer and system requirements to develop basic architectural approaches and detailed specifications for various electronic products.
Develops high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specifications.
Validates designs through various methods of review, testing and analysis.
Identifies, tracks and statuses technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirements.
Supports Supplier Management with make/buy recommendations and other technical services of limited scope.
Provides engineering support throughout the lifecycle of the product.
Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
Works under general direction.
