About The Position

Jedson Engineering is seeking an Electrical Department Manager to lead our electrical engineering team with a focus on power generation. This role is responsible for technical leadership, project delivery, and team management, ensuring high-quality solutions for complex facilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
- Professional Engineer
- Lead engineer or department management experience.
- Proficiency in ETAP or SKM.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Power generation Industry preferred along with industrial projects (chemical, manufacturing, pulp & paper, or related industries).
Responsibilities
- Manage the Electrical department, including engineers, designers, and support staff.
- Provide technical expertise and quality oversight on engineering deliverables.
- Collaborate with project managers and other discipline leads to execute multi-discipline projects.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering technical growth and professional development.
- Develop and maintain department standards, tools, and best practices.
- Support client relationships and business development activities, including proposal preparation and estimating.
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards.
