About The Position

Terra Nova Technologies (TNT) is seeking a skilled Electrical & Controls Field Technician to join their dynamic operations team. This role involves providing technical advisory services during the construction and commissioning phases of projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical and controls installations, performing key commissioning tasks, and delivering on-site technical support to clients.

Requirements

• Applicable Post-Secondary Degree in Engineering or E&I Technician or Technology Diploma.
• 3+ years of related experience, preferably in a mining, engineering, or construction industry.
• Strong foundation in both electrical and controls.
• Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments, key business partners, and stakeholders.
• Ability to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
• Desire to take initiative and work independently.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advisory services during project construction and commissioning.
• Oversee electrical and controls installations to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Perform essential commissioning tasks to guarantee the successful operation of systems.
• Provide on-site technical support to clients, addressing any issues and ensuring smooth project execution.
