The Electrical Controls Engineer role supports existing equipment; diagnose, repair or prevent improperly operating systems and equipment to make it perform the tasks it was designed to do efficiently. This role provides aftermarket, customer, and dealer controls support, upgrades, etc. for all MP Products. The engineer will also assist in research and development of new products, provide manufacturing support, and follow proper Engineering procedures for ECOs, ECRs, etc. Ensuring schematics are updated to accurately reflect machine design and assisting in training of MP Personnel are also key functions. The role involves working with subcontractors and power companies during stationary and mobile systems installation, and with outside vendors to develop controls systems and component settings. Additionally, the engineer will assist in the management of all in-house electronics/panel builds, ensuring all personnel follow safety protocol, use of PPE, and reporting of unsafe conditions. Travel both domestic and abroad is required to perform on-site diagnostics and service. Other related duties may be assigned.
