About The Position

Primary responsibilities include: Develop system specifications Specify hardware and develop control algorithms Program drives, PLCs and HMIs Troubleshoot AC/DC drive systems in the field and remotely Perform system startup and commissioning Develop/Revise controls drawings using Auotcad Electrical Interact with customers and vendors Be extremely flexible and adaptable to changing requirements Some travel to customers and vendors.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience doing electrical controls design and programming in a manufacturing related field.
• Working knowledge of AC/DC drives, tension control and motion control.
• Must have good computer, AutoCad and file management skills and working knowledge of programmable logic controllers.
• Must also have the skill to communicate professionally and effectively, both orally and written, with all appropriate parties.
• Must be highly organized, creative, thorough, detail oriented, and quality conscious.
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and produce work in an expedient and accurate manner.
