About The Position

We have a client located in Buford, GA that has an opportunity for an Electrical Controls Engineer. This position is responsible for the design, management, documentation, programming, and testing of company equipment, including panel cabinets and related control systems. This is primarily an in-office role with occasional travel averaging 5-10 days per month. Approximately 80% of this is local, and 20% is overnight. Responsibilities include equipment design, hands-on testing and production support, programming, troubleshooting, overseeing installations, and providing customer training and demonstrations as needed. This is a Direct Hire position required to be fully On-Site.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in industrial equipment
• Experience designing panels utilizing AutoCAD or EPLAN
• Strong client communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to read and develop project plans and technical drawings
• Ability to work 40-50 hours per week
• Ability to travel to customer sites

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Experience programming Siemens control systems from scratch
• Experience with Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric systems
• Familiarity with EPLAN
