About The Position

Dematic has an immediate need for an Electrical Controls Applications Engineer in our Customer Service Modernizations & Upgrades group. Candidates can have up to 5 years of experience in related field. Qualified candidates are proficient in performing basic tasks and be able to take direction from senior engineers. Employees can be based anywhere in the continental USA, however, must be willing to travel up to 40-50% to customer locations in the USA.

Requirements

Up to 5 years of experience in a related field.
Proficient in performing basic tasks.
Able to take direction from senior engineers.
Proficient in communicating effectively using both written and verbal skills.
General understanding of project execution and deliverables; Scope, Schedule, Budget.
Ability to learn and show proficiency with Dematic systems, e.g., CAD, SAP, Travel, and other applications.
Ability to locate and follow Standard Work Practices and procedures.
Typically, BS/BA Under-Grad in Engineering or Administration.
Up to 0-5 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
Demonstrates and applies comprehensive knowledge of field of specialization to the successful completion of complex assignments.
Demonstrates a basic knowledge of professional principles and skills.
Effectively uses fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a particular area of specializations.

Responsibilities

Performs basic tasks and functions for professional field of work.
Seeks advice and guidance on nonroutine or problem areas from others.

Assists in the design of routine systems that integrate hardware and software.
Ability to learn and show proficiency with Dematic systems, e.g., CAD, SAP, Travel, and other applications.
Provides assistance in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction, and improvement in customer satisfaction.
Aids in the start-up, commissioning, and testing of material handling systems.
Assist with software PLC emulation and testing of material handling systems.
Ability to locate and follow Standard Work Practices and procedures.
