Our team remains laser-focused on one goal - making the world a safer place. Assembly of Electrical Control Panels. This position is responsible for physical assembly, wiring, and factory acceptance testing of control panels for industrial/marine equipment. The technician will fabricate controls to print, including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel, wiring of all components, installation of control panel onto equipment, and testing to ensure proper operation. All duties must be performed in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Minimum of 3+ Years Electrical Control Panel Construction
  • Attention to detail.
  • Be able to follow directions/instructions.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with a team.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clear driving record.
  • Basic understanding of Fire Protection Systems.
  • Basic Engineering knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Operate hand and power tools.
  • Read a tape measure.
  • Read and understand drawings or schematics.
  • Travel to and from jobsites, along with overnight stay.
  • Travel Internationally, required!

Nice To Haves

  • Technical or Vocational degree/certificate is a plus.
  • Possession of a Passport is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Dimension and layout of back panels and enclosures
  • Mounting of equipment
  • Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
  • Point to point wiring of relays, controls, PLC’s, I/O Modules, VFDs, Interfaces, & Instrumentation
  • Troubleshoot panels as needed to eliminate wiring errors and component malfunctions.
  • Maintain red line drawings mark-ups of changes required during fabrication and communicate back to the production manager.
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of fully constructed control panels
