Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems Division (EESS) is currently seeking an Electrical Construction Quality Engineer (QA/QC). This role can be based remote within the United States with up to 75% travel. The Electrical Construction Quality Engineer (QA/QC) is responsible for ensuring that all electrical construction activities comply with design drawings, project specifications, and applicable codes and standards. This role supports engineering and construction project teams by implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections, reviewing submittals, and verifying that all installations meet design intent, and all applicable codes and regulations. This role works closely with project managers, field supervision, EHS/safety personnel, owners/customers, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning teams to ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient delivery of electrical construction. The Construction Quality Engineer is the subject matter expert (SME) for all quality related issues associated with electrical construction and incidental construction scopes/trades. The Construction Quality Engineer is expected to travel to project sites as needed to support onsite construction activities. Travel may be substantial for considerable periods of time.
