About The Position

The Electrical Component Technologies Department is looking for individuals to support the circuit card design process, turning designs into robust and reliable reality. Individuals will interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop high quality producible designs. Team members will be exposed to all phases of the circuit card lifecycle from development through production and will present their findings through program design reviews. We are looking for Electrical Engineers to support the following areas: Component Engineers ensuring cost effective and robust parts are used to ensure successful products, by selecting, specifying, and determining application adherence for electrical components. Individuals will interface with multiple internal stakeholders and external suppliers to develop: Component Engineers evaluate risk and verification data packages that will support component selections and provide justification to program customers. Component Engineers will identify parts to be included on the preferred parts list, drive usage of these standardized parts, provide recommendations to mitigate obsolescence issues, and identify solutions to meet customer component requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) degree.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: circuit design, circuit analysis, digital electronics, analog circuits, power design, RF design or printed circuit board design.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Technical working knowledge of electronic components (e.g. semiconductor, passive and/or electromechanical commodities) and their application.
  • Board layout experience of single and multi-lamination boards.
  • PCB manufacturing and Circuit card assembly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task.
