About The Position

SilverEdge is seeking a mid-level Electrical Engineer to join a small team working on a multi-year Machine Learning RF research and test & evaluation project. This role focuses on the implementation and evaluation of communication and signal processing systems, with a strong emphasis on software development. This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.

Requirements

• Experience designing, developing, and testing engineering systems.
• Strong programming experience in Python and/or C/C++.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Background in communications systems, signal processing, or RF fundamentals.
• Experience implementing algorithms or analysis tools in software.
• Experience with source control systems (Git or equivalent).
• Willingness to work on hands-on coding, testing, and data analysis tasks.
• Must be willing and able to be submitted for TS/SCI clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with wireless communications concepts (modulation, coding, spectral analysis, etc.).
• Experience with SDRs, radio systems, or RF test setups.
• Familiarity with real-time or streaming signal processing systems.
• Exposure to embedded systems or low-level development.
• Familiarity with AI/ML applied to signals or communications.
• Experience with data analysis or visualization tools.
• Active TS/SCI.
