AECOM is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support projects across the US and OCONUS. This role involves technical field commissioning, engineering review, and planning. The engineer will lead electrical commissioning efforts, interact with clients, and ensure systems meet design and performance requirements. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, organized, self-directed, and capable of managing the commissioning process from planning through testing and closeout. This position can be hybrid or onsite and is available in multiple US locations. The role requires overseeing electrical system commissioning (low/medium voltage power, emergency power, control systems), performing technical peer reviews of design documents, initiating and leading quality assurance, developing commissioning specifications and test procedures, conducting site inspections, executing functional performance testing, planning complex engineering tasks, and interpreting technical assignments with minimal supervision. The engineer will act independently on technical matters, interface with clients, advise senior management on project status, and proactively address potential delays.
