About The Position

As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will develop and implement processes for future AP1000 plant deployment. You will report to the commissioning manager and work a mobile/hybrid role based in Rock Hill, SC. Local candidates only.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
• Above average academic achievement
• Familiarity with testing and testing analysis
• Familiarity with the nuclear power plant designs for operating PWR and BWRs or advanced reactors or AP1000
• Ability to travel to Westinghouse or Customer site within the first year

• Engineer in Training Certification helpful

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and test protocols for nuclear systems and components
• Develop pre-operational and component testing, including system turnover packages.
• Evaluate Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure readiness for commissioning
• Review and verify system design documents, drawings, and specifications
• Identify problems and propose solutions to projects and tasks that are assigned
• Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements
• Support senior engineering personnel in different efforts
